Kim Burma

Kim Burma is a seasoned advertising professional and dedicated community leader with over three decades of experience in the Sioux Falls media and marketing landscape.  Currently a Senior Advertising Agency Account Executive at Midco, Kim is known for her integrity, client-first approach, and deep commitment to community engagement.

Born and raised in the small farming town of Anthon, Iowa, Kim’s work ethic and generosity was shaped by the values of hard work, compassion and community involvement – principles instilled by her parents.

Kim joined Midco following its acquisition of KTWB Radio.  Over the years, she has become a trusted advisor to clients.

Kim’s professional success is matched by her deep commitment to community service.  She has served numerous boards including the Sioux Empire United Way, Children’s Home Society, Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce, Start Up Sioux Falls, Sioux Falls Sports Authority, Badlands National Park Conservancy, Sioux Falls Cares and USD Howling Pack.  She has served several organizations, most recently chairing the 2024 United Way Campaign, and has been recognized with awards including the AAF-SD Silver Medal Award, EMBE Tribute to Women in Sales & Marketing, Midcontinent Communications Joe Floyd Helluva Salesman Award Advertising and Midco Trailblazer Award.

A proud alumna of The University of South Dakota, Kim remains an enthusiastic supporter of all things COYOTE!

Kim and her husband Jim Jr share a love for community service, travel, music, sports and spending time at the family cabin in northern Minnesota.  Their family includes son Jimmy, daughter in law Alexis, grandson Jones and daughter Maddie and special friend, Hank and dog Bo.
