Happy Holidays to All!!!

SME certainly know how to celebrate the Christmas
season.  The Holiday committee chaired by Lisa Schultz, and including Mary
Olinger, Ashley Pfaff, Cody Ulven and Amy Hobach put on a very special party
for each of us!  We were met at the door with 3 beautiful cars from our
sponsor, Vern Eide.  Great music, food, drink and networking started our
evening at Callaways. The program featured Tom Roberts sharing his new book,
and much more.   His inspiring presentation served to remind us of the
real meaning of Christmas…..giving. Proceeds from Tom’s books were donated to
the Children’s Home Society.   Sales from our membership resulting in
a grand total of $$2500 given to this wonderful organization.

2012 has yet more fantastic meetings in store for our
organization.   We don’t slow down!!   January 24^th
is our “Leaders Bringing Leaders” luncheon meeting.  Mr Sam Glenn will
give us a “Kick in the Attitude”!!!   (We all can use this at this
time of year.)   Please make it a point to bring a prospective member
to this meeting.

At our next event, please seek out the following new members,
Steve Talcott of US Water Services; Darwin Van Den Oever of CorTrust Bank and
Stacie Peterson of PetersonGoff Real Estate.

The end of January, your Board of Directors will be meeting
for a half day planning session.  We take this time to access each of our
events, our policies etc. as we strive to keep our organization fresh and ready
to meet the needs of an ever changing business environment.   I would
encourage you to speak with any of the Board member if you would like to express
your ideas and constructive input.
