August is here and we are gearing up for fall ....back to school, final summer vacations, …last days on the boat!  SME is gearing up too!

Fall represents philanthropy and fun for SME!  One of our largest events, the SME Youth Benefit Auction, is held each fall.    I would encourage all membership to participate, at some level, in this great event!   This Auction is our organization's major fundraising event for Youth Business Adventure and SME College Scholarships. Last year we awarded YBA with a check for over $16,000 as a result of the efforts of this event.   We encourage each of you to Read more  

The Sales and Marketing Executives of Sioux Falls (SME) members work hard every year to provide support to Youth Business Adventure (YBA) so that youth from South Dakota can participate in the summer camps organized by YBA.  In May over $16,000 was given to YBA to benefit and scholarship students in the program where training in business concepts is the primary focus.

Members of SME along with family and guests participated in a SME Picnic on Tuesday, June 28th at 5 pm at McCrossan Boys ranch.  A ranch style meal welcomed the group as they enjoyed the evening weather.  Wagon rides and ranch tours were also part of the evening events.

Sales and Marketing Executives, Inc. of Sioux Falls (SME) announced today that Youth Business Adventure (YBA) was given a check for $15,908.54 at a  dinner held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Sioux Falls on Tuesday, May 17, 2011.    The funds for this check were raised through the SME annual youth benefit auction.  This year’s check takes the total of money SME has raised for YBA since 2002 to over $163,000.
